Lesson 1. Setting the Stage for Wildlife Video Creation– Magic  of Nocturnal Creatures

  • Explain the concept of biodiversity and its relationship to animal adaptations like nocturnal adaptations and behaviours.
  • Analyze how multimedia elements (images, movement, and video) can be used to communicate conservation messages.
  • Initiate research on a chosen animal with unique night-time adaptations to begin developing their wildlife video concept.
 
  • 解釋生物多樣性的概念，以及其與夜適應等動物適應能力和行為之間的關係。
  • 分析多媒體元素（圖像、動態效果與影片）如何用於傳達保育訊息。

Lesson 2. Video Planning – Habitats, Threats, and Conservation

  • Describe the importance of your animal’s habitat and how it supports survival.
  • Identify the effects of human activities on your chosen animal and its environment.
  • Organize your wildlife video into four clear sections to convey a strong conservation message.

  • Incorporate the theme of adaptation into their script to highlight how the animal’s night-time adaptations help it survive.
  • Apply descriptive language and storytelling techniques to engage the audience and communicate a clear conservation message.

  • Watch other Environmental/ Biodiversity videos to see what features make a good video e.g. audio, imagery, and visuals
  • Use inspiring, interesting, engaging, and awe-inspiring images and audio so you capture your viewer’s attention
  • Make the viewer feel emotional! Then they will protect what they love
