Goethe’s Heroines

September 27th, 2025

We are celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with our music and friends under the theme Goethe’s Heroines. This special event showcases 2 parts. The first part of the program features exquisite songs inspired by the poetry of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, as interpreted by legendary composers such as Schubert, Liszt, and others. Highlighting the grace, complexity, and depth of Goethe’s unforgettable female characters, to weave together music and poetry in a heartfelt tribute.

The second part of the program brings familiarity through entertaining, yet classic pieces from renowned musicals and film music. Timeless melodies from Hollywood and musical theater are honored to lighten up the room and to bring a twist on the evening’s definition of “classic”.

Join us as we welcome the beauty of autumn through art and literature, as well as nostalgic singalongs to ensure a night of musical captivation.
