Dr. Christine Chan

Christine makes her impact by advising global institutions on sustainability and climate change risks. She has expertise in green bond development, ecosystem restoration, climate adaptation policies in developing countries, and sustainability risks in lending and investment portfolios. Engaging with Lumi Voce allows her to connect with future generations on critical issues like biodiversity and habitat protection. Since learning to kayak and paddle board, she has paddled her way across 500km of Hong Kong ocean waters.

Christine completed her PhD in Oceanography (University of Rhode Island), and her MBA in Strategy (HEC Paris).  She began her career as a NASA Global Change Fellow, and has continued to advocate for environmental issues. She is an active volunteer working to empower young women and girls as they prepare for challenging careers in Hong Kong.
