Dr. Rosana Wong is the Deputy Chair of Yau Lee Holdings Limited (Yau Lee).
Dr. Wong has over 30 years of global business experience, specializing in corporate
development, strategic direction, and R&D projects. With a strong focus on CSR, SDG
and ESG, she has transformed Yau Lee into an award-winning, forward-thinking green
corporation to provide multidisciplinary services from building construction, IT
solutions, LLM, MEP Services, architecture & engineering, energy optimisation
solutions, precast and low carbon building materials, curtain wall & steel works, to
investment, property and hotel development.
Dr. Wong is driven by her passion in technology, innovation and science and dedicated
herself to building a sustainable eco-system for the society. She has founded Ophylla
Ventures in 2016 to seed a series of startups to implement smart city developments.
Dr. Wong is also a Vice President of Smart City Consortium and Chair of SCC’s Smart
Living Committee, Deputy Director of China Green Building (HK) Council, Member of
Construction Industry Council’s (CIC) Committee on BIM and Construction
Digitalisation, Co-chair of CIC’s Task Force on BIM Personnel Development and
Member of other CIC’s Task Forces, Member of Sub-committee on Access of the
Rehabilitation Advisory Committee of the Government of the HKSAR, Honorary
Advisor of the Hong Kong PropTech Association, Director and Fundraising Committee
Chair of The Zonta Club of Kowloon, Council Member of the Orion Astropreneur Space
Academy and its former Board Member, and Honorary President of the Hong Kong
Qingdao Association. During 2017-2023, Dr. Wong served as a Director for Hong
Kong Cyberport and the Chair of Construction and Facilities Committee.
Dr. Wong holds a Bachelor Degree in Design from the De Montfort University, a Master
Degree in Design from the Royal College of Art in the UK, an Executive Master Degree
in Business Administration and a Master Degree in Philosophy both awarded by the
Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a PhD degree in Geography/Smart City from the
University of Hong Kong.
