we protect
what we love

Educating and inspiring young people through music and the arts is central to our strategy. Our Voices for the Planet (V4TP) programs encourage youth to protect wildlife by creating artworks in various forms, including drawing, writing, photography, videography, and music. Integrating social-emotional learning (SEL) fosters essential skills like self-awareness, empathy, and effective communication, enhancing academic performance and well-being. Additionally, our programs focus on developing children’s mental wellness, providing them with tools to manage stress and build resilience. Aesthetic education (AE) further enriches learning by promoting creativity, critical thinking, and emotional expression. This holistic approach cultivates cultural awareness and personal growth, preparing students for a well-rounded and fulfilling life.

how does
the challenge work

Voices for the Planet is an annual online wildlife art competition developed by LumiVoce to engage students from kindergarten, primary, and secondary schools so they can learn about biodiversity and develop compassion and love for wildlife and nature through the arts.

We provide artistic workshops and biodiversity talks, and step-by-step guidelines for different challenges that children, educators, and parents to utilize. Students can choose to participate in drawing, writing, photography, videography, and music (vocal & instrumental) with different themes each year to highlight an important ecosystem or animal group.
