- Learn about the human impact on winged animals, and their habitats
- Learn about the importance of winged animals, and how we can protect them
- Think about a call to action, what can we do to protect winged animals, and their habitats
- You can choose to use different mediums to express your ideas on your poster (e.g. watercolor paints, pastel, collage, crayons, etc.)

Step 1. Choose one or more winged animals for your poster OR choose the passages from one LumiVoce wildlife story below that you would like to illustrate if you prefer to focus on other animals.
Step 2: Conduct research on your chosen winged animals to find out
- Facts about winged animals
- Facts about its habitat
- Facts about the human impact on the survival of winged animals
- Ideas about how winged animals can be protected
Step 3: Choose the materials you would like to use to make your poster
- Crayons, watercolor paint, colored pencils, acrylic paint, collage?
- How can I make the most impact and connect people’s hearts?
Step 4: Create your poster
Points to remember!
- Find out as much as you can about the winged animals, and their habitat
- Think about how you can make your poster stand out
- Choose colors or materials which will make others say, ‘Wow’!
- Use words as messages to grab the reader’s attention!
- Finally, remember to make the reader feel their emotions! For then they will protect what they love.
