Why supporting LumiVoce biodiversity projects?
Ever since I could remember myself, I have loved animals. Growing up in a suburb of Serbia’s (then Yugoslavia’s) capital, Belgrade, my friends and I have always played with stray dogs and cats in our neighborhood, bringing them food, building them shelters in our large park, even helping with their babies (and there were ALWAYS babies) and hiding them from periodic visits of animal control. I believe that we were then just like the children are everywhere—ready to love, curious and intensely attached to other live beings. It is this connection with children, with educating them further about something that their hearts are already open to, that I find to be one of the most inspiring facets of the work that LumiVoce does.
