Writer, former chairman of the Hainan Writers’ Association, and editor of 《天涯》magazine.

Since 1986, she has published 18 short and medium-length novels, essays, long novels and non-fiction texts, including the monographs《動物檔案》 and 《一隻螞蟻領著我走》 (Joint Publishing, 2008), which focus on animal protection. Some of her works have been translated into English, French, and Japanese, and published overseas.
